I'm a nerd and I'll say it loud and say it proud. I heart Harry Potter.
- Reread Half Blood Prince. check
- See Order of the Phoenix. check
- Avoid any internet article that mentions a new book especially if the headline contains the word "spoilers". check
- Arrange for the kids to go to church picnic on Saturday with my parents ensuring that I will have the chance to sleep and read. check
- Make plans to hang out, eat, drink and be in line at midnight. check

on a completely unrelated note, i am so glad beks and ro are going to well received in "Amrika". I hear tell that it can a very lonely place otherwise!
So there are more people revising Half Blood Prince :) Good thing too ..because I realised that I had forgotten a lot of the details.
So did you get your copy of the last book. This is the first time I pre-order and I was out picnicing when the book arrived. Now I have to wait till Monday when the post office re-opens. Death to my weekend plans!
I had pre-ordered my copy and it never arrived thanks to a goof-up by the the on-line Co. I am absolutely miserable.
That was a nice, short and sweet post explaining how much you like Potter :) Some of the others out there are too damm long explaining complex reviews about the book.
Would you believe it ? Have not read a single Potter book. Searching for the Philosopher's stone now :)
ashamed to admit it...but i bought mine and its sitting in its plastic wrapping by the dresser waiting to be opened because I've been travelling non stop and the HP is too bloody bulky to be part of my handbag for in-flight reading pleasure. sigh...
I envy your checklist, I wish mine was half as nice as yours. Mine revolves around setting the alarm for 5AM and drag myself out of bed at 5:30, Hunt for coffee pot, find it and gulp down inordinate amounts of coffee, Make it to work on time most of the times, Try and make it home after work. HP used to rule my world till about Book 4.
